This scene was recorded at the Maasai Mara wildlife reserve, Kenya. The unlucky buffalo was caught by 3 hungry lions while his fellow was engrossed in drinking water. Although the male buffalo is very strong and possesses sharp horns, the lion has the advantage of numbers, so it is still easy to defeat.
Then, a lion bit the buffalo’s nose tightly and together with his companions firmly pinned down the prey, causing the buffalo to fall on its back to the ground.
Despite the buffalo’s cries for help, no one came to the rescue, because they were afraid they would be prey for the lions.
In the end, the buffalo despaired and let the lions bite in pain, and the lions also had a full meal.
