Standing in front of 14 hungry lions, the baby elephant still calmly fights to defeat each predator to escape

This incredible scene was recorded by tourists at South Luangwa National Park, Zambia.

In the clip, a juvenile elephant is unfortunately separated from the herd and attacked by 14 hungry lions near a puddle. Although quite panicked when attacked by lionesses, the baby elephant still fought back calmly.

It even launched back kicks that made the lions’ rear approach in vain. After struggling for a while, the elephant was freed from the lions’ grasp and quickly ran into the water. At the action of their prey, the lions became confused, even though this was only a shallow puddle.

After a long battle, the elephant had a “turn the game over” when it chased away the lions and escaped safely. Overcoming the moment of life and death, the elephant shows joy by wagging its ears and splashing water with its trunk.

Having lost their prey, the hungry lions had to leave the scene and find themselves a buffalo to replace their lunch.

Unlike other species of the same family, lions hunt in groups. This is the top carnivore. Their primary prey is other mammals, especially medium to large ungulates, including plains zebra, blue wildebeest, buffalo, and giraffe. ancient, hippos and even juvenile African bush elephants.

However, not every hunt the lion has the upper hand and won.
