Kidnapping a calf right in front of a herd of wild buffalo, angry mother buffalo stabs leopard to death with sharp horns

The leopard (Panthera pardus) is one of four large cats of the genus Panthera that live in Africa and Asia. Despite its modest size compared to other big cats in the family, leopards are formidable predators in the wild.

Leopards are solitary predators, so from an early age, they will be taught important survival lessons by their mother.

The clip recording the leopard’s failed hunt was recorded by visitors at Yala National Park.

A leopard hiding in the bushes suddenly rushed out into the middle of the road and grabbed the baby buffalo right in front of the car.

When seeing the young being attacked by the enemy, the adult buffaloes immediately rushed forward, ramming the leopard to prevent it from eating the baby buffalo.

Initially, the hunter was still determined to grab the prey’s neck. However, after a while of struggle, the leopard had to let go of the young buffalo and climb up the tree to avoid the chase of the buffalo herd.

Finally, the buffaloes surrounded the young and comforted it, then the buffaloes took the young away with them.
