Fighting alone with 3 ferocious lions, buffalo lure predators to the lake and suffocate them

This incredible scene was recorded by tourists at Chobe National Park, Botswana. Specifically, an African wild buffalo lost its herd was ambushed by lions and then rushed to attack. Initially, the lionesses took turns jumping up and grabbing the buffalo’s back but were all knocked down by it.

The lioness still insisted on clinging to the buffalo and was dragged directly into the nearby river by the animal. Moments later, a male lion appeared, moving towards the battle to help the lioness. However, it is afraid of water and does not rush into the river to attack.

According to the cameraman, the lions were then unable to take down their prey and the buffalo also escaped safely when the buffalo came to the rescue.

Lions often hunt mammals such as zebras, gazelles, and wildebeest. They can take down large prey when hunting in groups. However, the buffalo this time seems to be too much prey for the lions.
