Fasting for too many days, two female lions recklessly attacked a herd of more than 500 wild buffaloes, but were immediately stabbed by the head buffalo with his horns and seriously injured.

A herd of about 600 wild buffaloes is flocking to the riverbank to drink water. Although the number of buffalo herds is extremely large, that does not mean that they will be safe. There were two hunters on standby waiting for an opportunity.

Those are two female lions from the Kampula lions of the Mala Mala Game Reserve. Both were aiming for a large prey and they caught this target.

However, putting a buffalo to the ground is not an easy thing.

While focusing on the victim, a ‘black shadow’ rushed to knock one of the lions away. Then another ‘black shadow’ continued to chase the remaining lion.

It turned out that the buffaloes had returned when they heard the cry for help from their fellows.
