The video above shows an alligator scurrying through the swamp, towards a herd of wild boars. Unconcerned with the nearby adult boars, the alligator targeted about a dozen piglets. But when the “carnivorous monster” opened its jaws to bite, the piglets scattered and the crocodile encountered a sudden attack.

Two adult pigs lunged at the crocodile from both sides. Shocked by the attack, the crocodile froze and lay still in the sand as the piglets were herded to safety by their parents.

Nearly 3 million people watched the video, and viewers expressed joy at what they saw. “I love the way the pigs stand up to face the crocodiles! Wild boar fighting!”, one commenter on YouTube.

Another commented: “So glad the crocodile lost. Great video!”, while a third wrote: “Smash you in the face, crocodile!”.
