The African ostrich is the largest living ostrich. The largest member of this species can grow up to 3 m tall, weigh 135 kg and run faster than horses.
A rather humorous clip captures the scene of an ostrich in a face-to-face encounter with a cheetah. Seeing that the cheetah intends to attack the ostrich cubs, the mother ostrich rushes to spread her wings to scare away the cheetah.
