In the clip, a wild buffalo was chased by lions and separated from the herd. When being cornered to the last step, the buffalo was still alone against nearly a dozen bloodthirsty lions. It even used its horns to knock a lioness into the air.

Knowing to choose difficult prey, the predators decided to let go of the buffalo. Thanks to his strength and resilience, the buffalo finally had an unbelievable escape.

The African buffalo is a herbivore but has a muscular body, weighs a ton, is up to 1.8 m long and can move at a speed of 57 km / h. They are known as the “buffalo of death” or “the black death”.

Their brusque and unpredictable temperament makes them particularly dangerous. If angry, buffalo is ready to fight even with large predators such as lions.

Meanwhile, lions kill and eat buffalo regularly. In some areas, the African buffalo is the main prey of lions. Usually it takes many lions to work together to knock down an adult buffalo, so lions often go in large herds when hunting them.
