The lioness was touched by the small antelope, but was too hungry to decide to take down the baby antelope

Video recorded at a wildlife sanctuary in Kruger National Park, South Africa, shows a lioness almost falling in love with her prey, a poor young antelope.

According to observations, perhaps this young antelope has only been born for a few days, extremely weak. Perhaps because it is so small and weak, it is easily caught by the lioness.

Unlike the cruel bite of prey, the lioness seems strangely gentle, she licks the young antelope like a gentle mother.

However, as long as the baby antelope intends to stand up, the lioness will immediately grab and hold it.

At times, the lioness lets the young antelope run away. It leisurely follows, playing with its prey patiently. Even when the baby antelope shakes to the point of falling, unable to get up, the lioness is willing to help her young prey up to continue.

When the antelope tries to run away, the hungry lioness is still not in a hurry, she just needs to walk faster than usual to be able to follow her prey.

Thinking that the lioness would spare the baby antelope, but when suddenly hearing a strange movement, the lion immediately stopped and held onto the small prey with her paws.

In the end, it decided to bite the antelope’s neck and take it back to the desert to eat meat, avoiding the eyes of other predators.
