The African buffalo is a herbivorous animal with a muscular body. They are known as the “buffalo of death” or “the black death”. Their “brutal” and unpredictable temperament makes them especially dangerous. If angry, buffalo is ready to fight even with large predators such as lions.
Lions kill and eat buffalo regularly. In some areas, the African buffalo is the main prey of lions. However, not all lion hunts are favorable. It even lost its life because its prey counterattacked.
In the video, 2 lionesses are trying to attack the mother and daughter of a wild buffalo. It can be seen that the lion is really a good hunter when he knows how to take advantage of the terrain to strike his prey.
Knowing that the mother buffalo could not be defeated, the two hunters decided to defeat the delicious calves because this was a lucrative prey, but could not resist. While the fellow is trying to distract the mother buffalo, the other lion will take this opportunity to grab the calves.
Thought the hunt was over, the mother buffalo suddenly turned around and rammed the hunter to regain her young. It even rushed to chase to warn the two lions not to touch their children.
