Surrounded and disturbed by 8 lions, the giraffe continuously kicked the lion, making them run away in fear

Visitors record the hunting trip of lions in Kruger National Park, South Africa. About 8 lionesses surrounded the giraffe, trying to knock it down, but received powerful kicks.

The lions were cautious. They don’t want to risk getting hurt or losing their life, especially if they’re both female. Lionesses usually secure food for the herd, so they are very important members.

“It seems part of their strategy is to exhaust the giraffes and finish things off at night, taking advantage of their good visibility in the dark. By that time, the males may have returned from duty. patrol and support with his muscular strength,” the cameraman commented.

The predators take turns threatening, harassing, and exhausting the giraffe. After attacking, the lioness lays down for a while and then resumes her work. This process is to ensure that the giraffe has no way out as the lions lie around.

“Unfortunately, due to limited time, we had to leave the dramatic scene unfinished and not know the outcome. It was amazing to see the lions working together, implementing strategies to exhaust their prey. I never thought I could witness such a scene with my own eyes,” the cameraman shared.
