Surprise: The komodo dragon climbs a tree to catch the giant bat

Komodo dragons are the largest lizards in the world today, with an average length of 2-3m. Because the biological features only allow Komodo to live in Indonesia, we cannot find this precious animal anywhere on Earth. According to scientists, Komodo dragons are closely related to dinosaurs that went extinct millions of years ago.

Komodo dragons live most on Komodo Island, which is one of 17,508 Indonesian islands. Komodo Island has an area of about 1,800 kmĀ² but is sparsely populated with just over 2,000 people. The island is part of Komodo National Park. The name of this reptile is called after the place name of this island.

In the video, the Komodo Dragon climbs the tree branch to catch this prey. The prey it targeted was a large bat.

When he noticed that the enemy was trying to climb up to grab him, the bat also moved to a higher branch to take refuge. But just a few minutes later, the komodo dragon tried to cling to the branches to jump to catch the prey.
