A short video captures the dramatic encounter between a lion and a zebra in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.
In the video, a lioness can be seen stalking, then rushing towards the zebras, causing them to panic and run away. Taking advantage of the chaos, the lion successfully captured an adult zebra.
It immediately grabbed the neck, then used its claws to pin the poor animal to the ground. Thought this would be the end for zebras, when something unexpected happened.
With an extraordinary will, the zebra tries to struggle, then counterattacks by biting the lion’s body. Being hit by a painful blow, the predator is “stunned” and momentarily let go of the prey.
Taking advantage of the opening, the zebra jumped up to run away, then narrowly escaped death. On the opposite side, the lion can only look at the prey with regretful eyes.
In the clip, an injured lion rests under a tree. Not far away, a wild buffalo was quietly observing the enemy.
Although the prey was standing right in front of him, perhaps due to the severe injury, the lion did not move. Surprisingly, just a few minutes later, the wild buffalo rushed towards the lion and launched a fatal blow. The strong impact sent the king of the forest flying into the air and then falling to the ground. Witnessing this scene, the tourists present at the scene could not help but panic.
After torturing the enemy, the wild buffalo left coldly. It is known that the lioness had to die soon after.
