Because the cubs are hungry, the mother lion burrows into the burrow to defeat the warthog

While visiting Sabie Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa, visitors saw a funny scene when the lioness was in a “banana tree” position with her head stuck in a deep burrow. This made many people laugh.

However, just a few seconds later, the lioness pulled up a humped pig. After that, it and its companions kill their prey and then slowly enjoy the feast.

In the wild, lions rarely choose humpback pigs as prey. However, when the dry season comes, making food sources scarce, they are ready to grab the opponent when there is an opportunity to relieve their hunger.

Even when hiding in a deep cave, humpback pigs can be killed by the “lord of the grasslands”.
