Mike Kirkman, a forest ranger at the Mala Mala Game Reserve, South Africa, recently captured the interesting encounter between a rhinoceros and a hippo that attracted the attention of many people.

According to Mike, this time in the reserve is the dry season, so the animals have to compete with each other for grass and water.

Even, due to a prolonged drought, many hippos have left this area. The hippo in the video may be lonely or curious, so it “teases” the rhinoceros that is feeding nearby.

After being “annoyed” by the hippo for a while, the rhino got mad and used its horns to attack again, causing the hippo to run away.
