Contrary to the peaceful, peaceful look of the wild steppe, here, any moment, any moment can happen the fiercest, fiercest and most fierce hunting battles.

This is an immutable law of nature, just like how humans eat and drink every day to survive, carnivores also rush into endless hunts.

When the amount of food is gradually depleted, to ensure enough supply, the carnivores not only have to find ways to find prey, but also have to stretch themselves to support and protect their achievements from predators. opportunities, specializing in stalking to rob other people’s achievements.

The most famous for the “stink of wealth”, also the most hated animal on the savannah is the hyena.

This is an extremely greedy, cold-blooded and cruel animal. They are willing to eat all their own, even the young in the herd just to satisfy their hunger.

With the ability to run fast, sharp teeth, herd lifestyle, hyenas can completely be a powerful, fearsome predator on the savannah. But instead of properly hunting, they prefer to steal prey from the hands of others.

Many funny situations have happened, fortunately one of them was recorded by Mr. Peet Van Schalkwyk, a former professor at North-West University, during his trip to Kruger National Park, South Fly.

Professor Schalkwyk’s trip was relatively peaceful when throughout the journey were images of gentle and cute herbivores such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes… drinking water.

Just as she was about to leave, a woman in the group discovered a leopard hiding in the bushes to stalk a herd of impalas grazing nearby.

Eager at the prospect of witnessing an exciting hunt, Professor Schalkwyk’s crew decided to stay behind to film.

The team’s patience paid off, and the leopard was finally able to successfully capture an antelope.

However, that is not the end, good drama lies behind.

With its prey in its mouth, the leopard finds a deserted place near the river to prepare to enjoy its meal.

Suddenly out of nowhere a hungry hyena appeared. With a calm appearance, it went to the lake to drink, when it discovered the area where the leopard had just brought its prey.

Lightning-fast, the hyena approached, scaring the leopard, jumping up and running into the nearby bushes.

Even more surprising, the antelope seemed to be timid, did not understand where to get the strength, in a second the two predators were absent-minded, then disappeared like a wind. The hyena realized its mistake, but it was too late.

Finally, the clip ends with a depressed hyena returning to the lake, both losing its prey and being injured by the leopard’s attack.
