In Chobe National Park, Botswana, a herd of wild buffalo resting near a large puddle was attacked by a group of lions and one buffalo was left behind. Immediately it became a target for the hungry lions.

They chased and separated the buffalo away from the herd, but the buffalo made an unexpected decision to return to the original puddle. The whole herd of lions chased so hard that it had to run straight down into the middle of this puddle.

The puddle is not deep, but it scares the lions, one lion swooped down to attack, but the whole herd just stood and watched on the shore.

In the end, the buffalo won over the enemy when he broke through the encirclement and escaped.
