An interesting video was recorded in Pattaya, Thailand. A resident discovered a fierce battle between snakes and geckos at the house they were living in.

At that time, the golden tree snake was tightly entwined, squeezing its prey – the chameleon. However that doesn’t mean it can have the upper hand.

This can be considered a typical battle for survival, the golden tree snake does its best to destroy its prey, whereas the chameleon is steadfast with the desire to survive, determined not to let the enemy satisfy.

Neither side can dominate, but can only hurt the other.

In the end, Mr. Batchelor decided to go into battle and try to separate the two sides. It was really dangerous, even his wife advised against it.

However, people said: “It is a snake the size of a golden vine, not very poisonous. In fact, it is mildly poisonous but harmless to humans”. And it seems he was right, this is the golden tree snake, also known as Chrysopelea ornata, common in South and Southeast Asia, almost harmless to humans.

If the fight continues, the snake will be at a disadvantage when it is being bitten hard across the body, even with Batchelor’s intervention, the gecko has no intention of releasing the enemy.
